Coffee Creations - Coffee Recipes - Easy Eggnog Coffee

Want a different twist to your regular cup of Joe? Try this easy variation using eggnog that I just tried, and it was delicious! Hope you'll enjoy this variation of mine...

  • Make your brewed coffee a little stronger than you normally would - you'll be using more eggnog than your usual cream, so you don't want the end result to be too weak.
  • Pour coffee into mugs - about 2/3 full. Fill the rest of the way with full fat eggnog. (You could use lower fat instead, if you prefer.) Stir well and add about a teaspoon of honey, if necessary, to sweeten.
  • Top with freshly whipped cream and a grating of fresh nutmeg. OR...also delicious with a grating of a gingersnap cookie on top to add a little spice.
  • An extra fun twist - use a cinnamon stick as a stirrer when serving these warming drinks!
  • Of course, a shot of rum could also be added to these Eggnog Coffees.

Enjoy!

Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans Recipe - Make a Delicious Gourmet Gift for a Coffee Lover!

Here's a wonderful recipe for simple homemade chocolate covered coffee beans - an insanely delicious treat for a coffee and chocolate lover! Use good quality roasted coffee beans for the best results.

Melt 1/2 cup chocolate chips in a double boiler over low heat to keep from burning the chocolate. You can also melt it in the microwave, but remember to stir it every 15-30 seconds.

After it is smooth, turn off the heat and let it cool for a minute, then mix in about 1/3 cup of the roasted coffee beans and stir.

With a spoon or fork, lay the coffee beans out on some wax paper on a tray, making sure they are all separated from each other.

Let them cool completely before separating into bags for gift giving. You can dust with high quality cocoa powder or icing sugar before serving.
